The HairtransplantClinics surgeon uses a needle to plant the hair, allowing for much closer proximity grafting and increased volume. This means that a 'finished' result can more often than not be achieved in a single session.Using larger teams of assistants - a prerequisite of the HairtransplantClinics Choi method - means that many thousands of hairs can be planted during one session, generally up to 6,000 hairs. Consequently, much larger areas of baldness or thinning areas can be treated on the day. Unlike Micro Surgery, the hair can be planted at up to 6mm in length, giving the average patient sufficient length of hair to disguise his treatment throughout the healing period.
